Statement on Membership Fees and Club Rules

Dear Members and Prospective Members,

We welcome you to the Chislet Bowls Club, where our goal is to foster a friendly, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all who share a passion for the game.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are set annually and are essential to maintaining our greens, facilities, and services. The current fee structure for the year 2025 season is as follows:

Full Membership:   £80 per year

Junior Membership (under 18):   £30 per year

Social Membership:   £10 per year (non-playing)

Honorary/Life Membership: By nomination only

All fees are due by 30th April, and payment options are available through the club treasurer or online.

Club Rules

To ensure a positive experience for all, members are expected to abide by the following club rules:

Respect: Treat fellow members, visitors, and staff with courtesy and respect at all times.

Dress Code: Appropriate lawn bowls attire and flat-soled shoes must be worn on the green.

Etiquette: Standard lawn bowls etiquette and sportsmanship should be observed during all games.

Club Facilities: Members must help maintain the cleanliness and care of club facilities.

Alcohol and Smoking: Follow all relevant licensing and designated area regulations.

Safety: Use equipment responsibly and report any hazards or injuries to staff immediately.
