Some Chislet players also play for the separate Chislet Cavaliers Short Mat Bowls Club, which meets indoors at the Chislet Colliery Welfare Club Hall in The Avenue, Hersden, throughout the winter. Matches and roll-ups are played on Tuesday evenings from 7pm and Friday afternoons from 2pm.

The season runs from mid-September to late April.

Membership subscription is £20 for the 2025-2026 season.

League match fees are determined by the League (last year was £3 per match) and roll-ups £2 per game.

Last season the league team finished second in the East Kent Short Mat Bowls League Division 3 which means we expect to play next season in Division 2.

Chislet Cavaliers are always looking for new players of all abilities for matches or just roll-ups.
